Sridhar (Sri) Vankayala, as Director of Capital Markets, leads the institutional capital markets activities across Saxum’s portfolio. Sri is intimately involved in arranging debt and joint venture structures for the firm.
Prior to joining Saxum in early 2021, Sri spent 12 years on the Capital Markets team at Cushman & Wakefield in New York. As Managing Director in the Equity, Debt and Structured Finance (EDSF) vertical, Sri raised debt and equity on behalf of owners, operators, and developers. Over his career he has helped raise nearly $4B in capital across a variety of asset classes/profiles and has built a wide network of capital relationships. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Sri spent eight years at JPMorgan Chase in their New York and London offices where he was part of the Private Banking and Investment Banking Technology verticals. Sri has a diverse background having lived in India, the UK, France, and the U.S.
Sri is a graduate of Manchester University (UMIST) in the UK and earned his MBA at Columbia University. Sri is a steering committee member of NYSAREN, a commercial real estate organization with over 200 members, whose mission is to facilitate new relationships among its members via educational and networking events.
