40 Beechwood Road, Summit, NJ
In April 2017, Saxum acquired 40 Beechwood Road, located in the heart of downtown Summit. The property is located just two blocks from the Summit NJ Transit Train Station, which provides direct access into Manhattan in less than 40 minutes. A true live, work, play community, downtown Summit has over 200 unique boutiques, restaurants and services. Within 12 months of acquisition, Saxum executed a long-term lease with Energy Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm focused on investing in energy infrastructure across North America. As part of the lease, Saxum will add an additional 5,000 sf to the asset, bringing its total size to approximately 20,000 sf. Once complete, 40 Beechwood will be among the top boutique trophy office assets in New Jersey, featuring glass facades, a fitness/wellness center, and a rooftop conference room and entertainment area. Energy Capital Partners took occupancy in the building in July, 2019.
